What is FamiSafe Screen Viewer?
FamiSafe Screen Viewer is a parental screen-monitoring feature that lets parents capture screenshots from a connected child's device. It supports on-demand screenshots and scheduled captures on supported devices, helping parents review visible screen activity without continuously live-streaming the screen.
How does Screen Viewer work on an iPhone or iPad child device?
On supported iPhone or iPad child devices, Screen Viewer requires the device-side permissions and Screen Broadcast setup described by FamiSafe. Once configured, parents can use supported screenshot modes from the parent side. If Screen Broadcast is not active, screenshot availability can be limited.

Can Screen Viewer take screenshots automatically?
Yes. FamiSafe currently supports scheduled screenshots at intervals between 2 and 30 minutes on supported devices and modes. Manual instant screenshots are also available. Device state, permissions, and platform restrictions can affect whether a screenshot is captured.
How does Screen Viewer work on an Android child device?
After the Android child device is connected and the required permissions are enabled, parents can open Screen Viewer from the parent side to take an instant screenshot or use supported scheduled captures. Screenshots flagged as potentially inappropriate can be reviewed from the Screen Viewer gallery.
